The Cotswolds Rivers Trust is seeking two new Trustees to help shape and strengthen our work. We are looking for individuals who can bring energy, enthusiasm and strategic insight to support our mission of protecting and restoring our waterways. This voluntary role is open to anyone with a passion for the environment, and we welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

What the role involves
The Cotswolds Rivers Trust works to protect, restore and enhance the rivers, streams and wetlands of the Cotswolds. We deliver practical conservation projects, scientific monitoring and community engagement to improve the health of our catchments. By collaborating with partners across the environmental, farming and business sectors, and alongside the public, we maximise our collective impact on the freshwater environment.
Becoming a Trustee of the Cotswolds Rivers Trust is a strategic and voluntary leadership commitment. The role typically includes attending quarterly board meetings in person and contributing a minimum of six hours per month for an initial three-year period.
As a Trustee, you will play a central part in decisions that influence the long-term health of our rivers. This is a rewarding opportunity to give back to the environment and local communities while broadening your own professional skills, networks and experience. Our preference is for trustees to be proactive in the work of the Trust, utilising skills and experience to the benefit of the Trust’s objectives.
